Foreword
Om Anand Om,
The monsoon season is still going on, so the trees and plants of West Bengal are pleased.
To our delight, we started the month of July with a few students from our 28-30 June 2024 Sunyoga Basic Workshop staying a few more days at our Universal Peace Centre (UPC) Ashram. They took the initiative to help us clean the rooms after the workshop because we had so many visitors at the Ashram since Sunyogi Ji returned on June 22.
They sang wonderful songs with us during the evening Aarti and even surprised us with a lively play in Bengali. Our veteran chef, Gita Ma, enchanted us with many songs in Bengali. She highlighted one song by explaining it is Martin Pavlina’s favourite. Martin is a long-time Sunyoga practitioner, Sunyoga teacher, and high-level Tai Chi teacher from Croatia, Europe.
With the many monsoon storms creating a unique atmosphere, on a rare occurrence, our second cook, Mira Ma, our cowboy Oshit ji, and our new leader of the Pujas, Provas ji, all participated in singing mantras. It felt like a special moment.
July 5 was my sister Joystna’s Samadhi’s birthday. For this occasion, Gita Ma led with a series of personalised songs for her. Before we left the Ashram to return to Europe, they all asked us for photos to keep with them. It was very touching.
Most people in West Bengal are simple farmers, humble, introverted, and even timid, so we were shocked and “kushi kushi” (happy, happy) to see everyone coming out of their shells by singing with their hearts out.
Sunyogi Umasankar ji is preparing for our European Sunyoga Workshops. Check our schedule as it increasingly becomes intense!

Without any courses this month, there is no doubt the month’s highlight was a unique wedding. From July 15th to 18th, we were invited to the wedding of Smita Chatterjee’s son, Dipayaman Chatterjee, who wedded Aditia Banarjee. (Smita Chatterjee has been our president for the past three years.) The wedding, known as “Beevaho” in Bengali, was a spectacular event. We, as Europeans, were genuinely amazed at the effort and grandeur that went into making the wedding so memorable. The food was delicious, there were several outstanding artists, and the crowd of relatives and friends was eager to dance like there was no tomorrow. As a photographer, I found it very interesting to watch the dedication of the photographers hired for the event. Very impressive.
My next plan is to travel to France to get our new Indian Visa process started because my current 5-year tourist visa only allows us to stay 90 days at a time in India for a total of 180 days per year. Ultimately, I am thinking about staying here forever to dedicate my life to the Universal Peace Centre and our massive Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Universe-City project, which will change the way we live, feel, grow, educate, and respect everything as a sustainable ecosystem on this Mother Earth for aeons to come.
At our UPC Ashram, life has been marvellous. We stayed as long as we could (90 days).
As we finalise this newsletter, we received wonderful news about our Ashram’s Cow Home: Gosala’s new boundary and drain system construction is underway. It means a lot to us, as we have been waiting for this to happen for many years. An official government crew came and measured the different plots of land. Thus, they allowed us to build and improve our Gosala’s design. Our 17 cows are pretty happy about it.
That’s all, folks!
Jai Guru. Jai Hind. Jai Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (Universal Family)!
Om Anand Om (Infinite blissful life to all),

Swapan’s Interview, Part 1/3
Introduction
My name is Swapan Tamang, and I am 38 years old. I live in Midnapore, Radhanagar, Khirpai village. I have a wife and a son and currently live with my parents. Furthermore, I work at the Universal Peace Center mainly as a driver. My job is to pick people up and drop them off at the airport. On the side, I have a small car business and a hotel.
I work both day and night and have no problem working night shifts. My other tasks include buying groceries for the Ashram. I like helping people as much as possible. When Swamiji needs something, I help and sometimes make tea for him. For some part of the year, I help cultivate the garden in the Ashram, where we grow fruits and vegetables.
I have been working at the Universal Peace Centre since 2013. Back then, there was only one small hut and no larger building like today. Swamiji used to come here to Lachhipur by his car. In 2016, the Ashram got a new vehicle, and Swamiji asked me if I could work for him as a driver. I agreed and was very happy for the job. Since then, I have taken Swamiji anywhere, even out of state. I like driving Swamiji around. When he sits beside me, it feels like my father sits beside me.
Sunyoga healed my eyes.
I also do Sunyoga sometimes, and I like it. Though, the first time I tried, I wasn’t very interested. Later on, I developed eye problems. I went to the doctor for a checkup, and he said I needed eye surgery. At that time, Swamiji was not there for me to ask for advice. My eyes got worse, and my parents became afraid.
Finally, Swamiji returned from his travels, and I told him about my eye problems. He told me not to worry and that it was not a big issue. I was told to start Sunyoga and commit to it, so I listened. Day by day, my eyes healed until they were back to normal. Meanwhile, I also received acupressure, which hastened the healing of my eyes. Already, the first treatment had an immediate and noticeable effect. I could see better than before after just this short session. Because of my excellent results, I recommend Sunyoga and acupressure to everyone. These things healed my eyes quickly, while the allopathic medicine I took never really helped.
Meeting Babaji
One day, I went to a local garage to service my car. While waiting in the office, a stranger approached me, and I asked him who he was. He didn’t respond and was just silent. Later, he left, and I couldn’t find him. This encounter left me with a sense of intrigue and wonder.
A few days later, I was outside for work at around 3:30 am. I hadn’t found a hotel, so I slept in my car. Everything was closed for the night. I parked outside a hotel and started to sleep in the car. The same man from the car service came to my car and knocked on the window. I opened the door, and he handed me a bag. I was too sleepy to check what it was that night.
The following day, I drove home and slept again. After waking up, I remembered someone had come to my car the previous night and handed me a bag. I wondered why an unknown man had given me a bag, so I checked in my vehicle. There was nothing inside except four pictures of the Babaji. That time, Swamiji was in my city. I told him everything that had happened to me. He said that I was fortunate to get this. I felt a mix of confusion, surprise, and gratitude. I gave one picture to Swamiji and another to Prasenjit the following day. Later, when I checked the rest of the pictures, I again saw the same four photos of Babaji in my bag.

FAQ – Can Sunyoga Heal My Disease?
Yes, you can heal yourself through Sunyoga, that is in your hand. Healing is not just a possibility; it’s a natural potential for everyone, waiting to be unblocked. We provide the technique, but your dedication and practice will bring this potential to life. While we can’t guarantee healing, we can say that, by experience, the potential to heal is undeniably great. We have had numerous people who have healed from “impossible” diseases, and modern medicine has given up the hope of recovery. This is a testament to the undeniably great potential of Sunyoga. If we give you a car, you will only reach the destination if you drive it properly. However, if you drive in the wrong direction, you might end up farther away than when you started.
Understanding that Sunyoga is primarily about internal understanding, not just physical practice, is crucial. Merely looking with open eyes towards the Sun does not guarantee results. It’s about understanding and connecting within. As we explain in our courses, healing happens when we balance all five elements, so we need to focus on balancing multi-dimensionally.Â
In modern life, we have become too focused on the physical aspects only for our health, but that is not more than a maximum of 1% of our health. The most important is our mind. If we learn how to balance our minds, our healing potential will multiply tenfold. This is a powerful realisation, as it puts the control of our health in our hands. We have heard a lot about the power of Placebo. With Sunyoga, we can learn to draw the full effect of the Placebo effect, which is the power of the mind. At that level, there is no limit to what can be healed. That is called “miracles”. It is called a miracle because we cannot explain the healing mechanism. In our Sunyoga courses, the science of miracles is unveiled, so it becomes a natural part of our process.
Meditation is not just a process but a level of awareness. When we can expand our awareness, intense healing often occurs. Our expectations can block this expansion and healing, so we stress its importance in our courses. By understanding this, you can better navigate the healing process.
The more courses and time you spend with an experienced Sunyoga teacher and in the Ashram, the more opportunities you will have to incorporate the Sunyoga technique for maximum healing potential. We will inspire, empower, motivate, and boost your self-confidence, which will help a lot, but you need to remember that, in the end, it is up to you to do the work.
