We envision the creation of a self-sustained Universe-City firmly rooted in the principles of Sanatam Dharma and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. At the heart of our endeavour is establishing an educational institution that blends ancient wisdom and modern knowledge, nurturing holistic development. Our commitment extends to promoting spiritual well-being through Sunyoga, which fosters inner harmony and balance. Simultaneously, we are dedicated to promoting community growth, nurturing talent, ensuring women’s welfare, and extending care to orphaned children and older people, creating a supportive and inclusive environment. Moreover, we recognise the significance of environmental preservation, with designated preservation areas dedicated to safeguarding local flora and fauna, underscoring our commitment to harmonious coexistence with nature.
It consists of the following key components:
Holistic Environment
In our modern world, constant exposure to pollutants and distractions impedes personal development. The project aims to address this issue by creating a self-contained, toxic-free environment. Our space will serve as a fertile ground for individuals to explore their potential without the hindrance of external disturbances. Our living conditions are directly impacted by nature. The facilities will only be built with natural materials, and our clothing and utensils will only be made from natural materials.
Spiritual Practice
At the heart of the project lies the practice of Sunyoga, a potent form of yoga that connects individuals to the Universe. Sunyoga’s emphasis on balance, inner harmony, and well-being aligns perfectly with our vision of fostering personal growth within a harmonious community. We will have spiritual leadership that holds the community together. The growth of wisdom will be a central part of the development and survival of the community.
Self-Sustainability
To reduce reliance on external resources, we will implement organic cultivation practices for food, establish livestock farming for sustainable daily products, and develop handicraft industries to create local products. These measures will contribute not only to self-sufficiency but also to environmental preservation.
Education
The project’s University will be a beacon of education, blending the best of the ancient Gurukul system with modern education methodologies. The curriculum will be practically oriented, emphasising hands-on learning, research, and character development. Lifelong learning will be encouraged to ensure continuous personal and societal growth.
Wildlife and Nature Preservation
Recognising the importance of preserving nature’s delicate balance, the project will allocate an area dedicated to environmental protection. This sanctuary will be for local wildlife, trees, and plants, reminding us of our interconnectedness with the natural world.
Land Requirements
We are requesting land covering an area of a minimum of 300 acres, close to lakes, rivers, forests, and mountains in Uttar Pradesh. It will help us to welcome at least 100 families in the early stages of development. The area’s proximity to forests and mountains aligns with the project’s vision of a harmonious environment conducive to holistic growth.
The land is needed for settlements, agriculture, and wildlife protection. There are several important land requirements to consider:
Climate and Soil Quality
The climate and soil type of the land are critical factors for successful crop cultivation. We will need land in an area with favourable average temperatures, precipitation levels, and significant growing season length.
Water Availability
Sufficient access to reliable water sources (wells, springs, rivers, or ponds) will be essential for irrigation and general use.
Topography and Slope
As the land’s topography and slope can impact water drainage and erosion control, land containing significant portions of flat or gently sloping land is preferable for agricultural purposes, as it allows for efficient irrigation and planting.
Access and Infrastructure
We will need to ensure the land has reasonable transportation access via roads or trails.
Biodiversity and Wildlife
Significant portions of the land will be dedicated to wildlife and environment protection, where we’ll require a diverse ecosystem with wild plants and animals, which are essential for our well-being and development.
Wildfire Risk
An area that is not prone to wildfires.
A word from our architect
Our advisor for architecture and design, Deepak G. says: “Our design approach prioritizes earth-friendly, human-centric, and economical design using natural materials and energies (sun, air, and water). We strongly believe that the Sun is the key to animating and nourishing built spaces and life around us.”
Proposed Land Usage
The allocation of land will be purposeful, with meticulous planning that reflects our commitment to preserving the region’s natural beauty. The primary focus will be the development of areas essential for the functioning of the Universe-City, ensuring state-of-the-art facilities and conducive learning environments for students.
The remainder of the land will be meticulously left untouched, forming a seamless connection with the pristine natural surroundings. We aim to foster a serene environment that encourages a deep and harmonious relationship with nature by maintaining most of the land as undisturbed wilderness. Our approach ensures a minimal ecological footprint and underscores our dedication to environmental conservation.
The lush greenery, untouched forests, and rugged mountains will serve as a living testament to our commitment to coexisting with nature. Integrating man-made structures with the natural landscape will offer a unique opportunity for individuals to experience a lucid connection with their surroundings, ultimately nurturing their spiritual, intellectual, and emotional growth.
The following will be planned in the campus:

Revenue
Creating economic sustainability requires collaboration, planning, and a long-term perspective. We are planning on implementing these steps:
Assessment and Planning
Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the community’s current economic situation, including its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis).
Engage community members, local businesses, and experts to develop a shared vision and strategic plan for economic sustainability.
Diversify the Local Economy
Encourage the growth of various industries and sectors to reduce dependency on a single source of income. This could include agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, technology, and services. Support entrepreneurship and small businesses by offering incentives, training, and resource access.
Promote Local Businesses
Encourage residents to support local businesses by shopping locally. This can help retain wealth within the community. Create a “buy local” campaign and an online directory to showcase local businesses and their products/services.
Invest in Education and Workforce Development
Enhance the education system to produce a skilled and adaptable workforce. Provide vocational training programs and retraining opportunities to meet the evolving needs of local industries.
Infrastructure Development
Invest in infrastructure projects that attract new businesses and residents, such as improved transportation and green energy initiatives. Revitalize and maintain existing infrastructure to create a more attractive environment for residents.
Sustainable Agriculture and Local Food Production
Support local farmers and promote sustainable organic agriculture to ensure a consistent and healthy food supply. Develop farmers’ markets and local food co-ops to connect consumers with local producers.
Tourism and Cultural Initiatives
Leverage the community’s unique cultural and natural assets to attract tourists.
Develop cultural events, festivals, and heritage preservation initiatives to promote tourism.
Environmental Sustainability
Encourage sustainable practices among local businesses and residents, such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and renewable energy adoption. Explore green business opportunities, such as ecotourism or environmentally friendly manufacturing.
Community Collaboration
To achieve common economic goals, Foster partnerships between local government, businesses, non-profits, and community organizations. Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for collaboration and innovation.
Quality of Life Enhancements
Improve the overall quality of life in the community by investing in healthcare, education, recreation, and cultural amenities. A high quality of life can attract and retain residents and businesses.
Long-Term Planning and Adaptation
Continuously monitor progress and adapt the economic sustainability plan as needed.
Be prepared to adjust strategies in response to changing economic conditions or unforeseen challenges. Remember that economic sustainability is an ongoing process that requires dedication and commitment from the entire community. Building consensus, fostering innovation, and maintaining a long-term perspective is key to achieving economic sustainability.
Financial and Societal Benefits
Financial Benefits
Employment Generation
The establishment of various sectors such as farming for food, cotton industry for clothing, university for education, healthcare facilities, and more will lead to the creation of numerous job opportunities, significantly benefiting the local population. As we experience steady economic growth over time, we’ll develop diverse economic activities and a skilled workforce. Investment in infrastructure will also attract new businesses and industries, creating job opportunities and increasing local tax revenues.
Increased Property Values
We will have attractive and well-maintained public spaces, improved infrastructure, and a high quality of life. These factors can lead to higher property values, benefiting homeowners and the local government through increased property tax revenue.
Business Prosperity
Local businesses thrive in sustainable communities, as residents are more likely to support them. This can increase sales and profitability for local entrepreneurs, contributing to a healthier local economy. Also, sustainable practices, such as energy efficiency and waste reduction, can lower operational costs for businesses and households. This results in savings for both residents and companies.
Besides, our community will foster innovation and creativity, which is likely to attract innovators and creative individuals, leading to the development of new businesses, technologies, and cultural expressions.
Tourism Revenue
A sustainable community with natural and cultural attractions draws tourists, bringing in revenue through tourism-related businesses like hotels, restaurants, and shops.
Access to Funding
We may have access to grants, subsidies, and low-interest loans for green initiatives, infrastructure development, and economic growth projects.
Societal Benefits
Community Development & Engagement
The project’s holistic education and skill development programs will empower individuals, fostering a sense of unity and shared growth within the community. Also, the initiatives for fostering vulnerable groups (orphans, and elderly) will provide them with equal opportunities, care, and protection. They will have opportunities to engage in local decision-making, volunteer for community projects, and support local initiatives.
We will strive for social equity, to reduce inequalities, ensuring residents distribute economic benefits more equitably. This will help improve social cohesion and reduce crime rates. One of the ways we’ll achieve that is by having a currency-free environment inside the community. All residents will contribute to the community by using their own talent, and everyone will have equal access to all that the community produces.
Health of Body and Mind
We will prioritize the well-being of the residents. This will translate into better healthcare, education, and recreational opportunities, enhancing the overall quality of life. For example, we will have a Health Home where people can choose how to heal their disease. It will be a center for higher research to refine better healing practices. Although Sun Meditation can cure all diseases, there are various alternative healing methods available (Acupressure, Ayurvedic medicine, Homoeopathy, Naturopathy, and Yoga therapy), including Allopathy.
In addition, our sustainable practices reduce pollution, promote clean air and water, and protect natural ecosystems. This leads to a healthier environment for residents, reducing healthcare costs and improving overall well-being.
Environmental Conservation
The dedicated preservation areas will safeguard local flora and fauna, reinforcing the importance of living harmoniously with nature. We will preserve and protect Nature and the land, and create a safe haven for vulnerable animals.
Spiritual Well-being
Sunyoga will promote inner peace, balance, and holistic well-being, enabling individuals to cultivate a deeper connection with themselves and the Universe. Prioritizing spirituality contributes to a sense of purpose and fulfillment among community members. We will create a family atmosphere where everyone feels united and ready to help each other, bringing us to peace.
Self-Sustainability
Through organic cultivation, livestock farming, handicraft businesses, and textile industries, the project will demonstrate sustainable practices that reduce environmental impact and promote self-reliance. Our autonomy and resilience will better prepare us to face economic downturns, natural disasters, or environmental crises. We will be able to help protect residents and locals during difficult times.
In addition, by focusing on sustainability, we can build a foundation for long-term prosperity, ensuring that future generations inherit a healthy, vibrant, and economically viable environment.
Educational Excellence
Investment in education and workforce development provides residents better access to educational opportunities. Our education system will be of a high standard for the benefit of the community, state, nation, and the world. The Universe-City will be dedicated to research and aims to promote sustainable living. The University’s unique blend of ancient wisdom (Chaturashram) and modern education will empower students to apply knowledge practically, fostering innovation and societal advancement.

Education
The project’s university will be a beacon of education, blending the best of the ancient Gurukul system along with modern education methodologies. Lifelong learning will encourage and ensure continuous personal and societal growth. This will enhance the productivity of the human resources which for so long was unavailable to the local people and was largely contributing to poverty. The State will enormously benefit from the enhanced productivity of the local people and its GDP will remain stable.
Conclusion
The policymakers may see the economic benefits delineated above and may kindly consider taking it as a policy that would facilitate the creation of a holistic environment, spiritual practice, self-sustainability, wildlife and nature preservation, and spreading of education emphasizing hands-on learning, research, and character development.
