Foreword

Dear Divine Brothers and Sisters of the Universe,

Foreword

As we transition from February to March, we carry forward the light of profound transformation. February offered us two remarkable workshops near Mumbai, Maharashtra, where participants rediscovered their bodies, minds, and spirits under the radiant guidance of Sunyogi Shri Umasankar ji. The stories below—of revitalised joints, dissolved chronic pain, and reawakened souls—echo the timeless power of Sunyoga to heal and illuminate.

In this issue, Swamiji presents an insightful article that explores the many dimensions of love. He examines different forms of love, such as romantic, familial, and self-love, emphasizing their significance in our lives. Swamiji argues that love is not just a feeling but an action that fosters connection and personal growth. Through anecdotes and reflections, he encourages readers to consider their own experiences with love and its transformative power.

We are excited to welcome two adorable baby calves, Venu and Ram Chandra, to our Ashram family! Their arrival brings new joy and energy to our Ghosala. Venu is playful and curious, enthusiastically exploring his surroundings, while Ram Chandra has a gentle nature and loves to cuddle. We can’t wait to watch them grow and bond with the other animals in our community. Welcome, Venu and Ram Chandra!

March calls with new possibilities. We are excited to announce a vibrant lineup of workshops: a Sunyoga retreat at the Ashram from March 21 to 23, a groundbreaking five-day Acupressure Workshop to expand our healing practice, and long-awaited Sunyoga sessions in Delhi and Palampur before Swamiji travels to Europe. These gatherings are invitations to deepen your connection with the sun, the self, and the cosmos.

On a personal note, I’ve been gazing at the sun to heal my eyes, which have been burdened by -12 nearsightedness, developed since age 11. Inspired by others, including the blind who have regained sight through Sunyoga, I’ve sensed a flicker of improvement in my right eye, a glimmer of hope after decades of decline. Swamiji’s words resonate: this practice is a natural balm for body and soul. I’m eager to see where this journey leads—and I invite you to explore your miracles with us.

A gentle reminder: Swamiji’s number is reserved for pursuing higher consciousness. For all inquiries, please get in touch with Ashram’s official contact at  https://sunyoga.org/contact/. Together, let’s honour his focus and keep the channels of light flowing smoothly.

This newsletter is filled with treasures—testimonials of rebirth, reflections on unconditional love, and wisdom on transcending the gunas to reach Cosmic Consciousness. May it inspire you to ask, “Who am I?”—and to seek the answer in the sun’s embrace, the stillness within, and the love that unites us all.

With boundless gratitude and solar blessings,

Axel and the Sunyoga Editorial Board
