Attending the Sunyoga Scientific Spiritual Healing – Advanced Course was one of the most transformative experiences of my life. The entire week felt deeply serene and sacred. Coming from a sedentary corporate lifestyle, shifting into a spiritually vibrant routine that started at 4 a.m. and went on till 10 p.m. initially felt quite challenging. I realised that my mind was the main limiting force, constantly resisting change. But soon, everything began to flow effortlessly, thanks to Swamiji’s powerful presence and the uplifting group (sangha) energy that kept us motivated and grounded throughout the journey.
The chakra meditations were profoundly healing, awakening and aligning the subtle energy centres within. Each session felt like an inner journey, gently releasing emotional layers and restoring balance to mind and body. With every session, I could sense my awareness expanding, perception becoming clearer, and a growing connection to the divine flow of energy within and around me. Every evening, the detox drink was a highlight; it felt refreshing, cleansing, and gave a sense of lightness that helped me end the day with calm clarity.
The culmination of the course was truly beyond words. Experiencing my first Nirvikalp Samadhi, a state of complete stillness and unity, was something I had only read about before. To actually experience that level of silence and connection was like the beginning of a new life journey – a rebirth.
This week has opened a new dimension of living for me. I feel more alive, peaceful, and centred than ever before. My heartfelt gratitude to Swami Umashankarji and the entire Sunyoga team for guiding us with such love, clarity, and grace.

Pranam to the sacred feet of Babaji and Swamiji. The 7-day Advanced Course held in Pune was a memorable and life-changing experience in my life. There were 29 participants, and we were all excited, charged up to learn new lessons from Swamiji. Everyone was keen to attain the state of Samadhi, and by the grace of Babaji and Swamiji, we all could attain the State of Samadhi.
My personal experience: Attending the course and attaining the state of Samadhi was indeed the most enlightening moment in my life. The 7-day course has given me insights into many things that we foster in day-to-day life. The concept of Global Family has helped me to heal a few of my real-life relationships. The exercises, Chakra Darshan and Chakra meditation, have further boosted my physical and mental endurance.
I had a lower back ache before and was unable to sit for a long time with my back straight; however, by the end of the first day, the pain was completely gone, and it felt lighter. I got the confidence to sit straight for some time and focus/practice meditation.
The course has helped me to remove self-doubt and fear of missing out. I could cut myself from my daily routine (especially in a very demanding work environment), and yet I was at peace and did not worry about what would happen in my absence from work. This was also a life lesson for me.
Of course, this is just a humble beginning for me on the path of self-realisation. Continued practice of the Yama, Niyama, Asanas, Meditation, and even the exercises will definitely help to achieve the goal of self-realisation.
Thank you so much.

The Sunyoga Advanced Course held at Pune between 26th October and 1st November 2025 has been a most profound one, as it was during this course that I had the first Samadhi experience of my life.
On the 29th of October, when the course reached its halfway mark, Swamiji had prepared us Sadhakas physically, mentally and emotionally for Samadhi; taught us a secret kriya, which may be likened to the gateway for Samadhi. As we sat on the terrace of BAIF under the noonday sun, following Swamiji’s instructions, immediately after performing the kriya for the first time, I felt like I was floating through a tunnel of beautiful colours until I reached a radiant white light. And then… it was a void! I have no recollection of anything after that! No thoughts, No body sensations, No colours, Nothing! It was indescribable.
After I don’t know how long, I started to again float back into awareness, and it was a most divinely beautiful feeling. I was filled with a profound sense of peace and calm. During that state, I saw a circle resembling the earth which had three horizontal lines like the latitudes. The topmost portion was white and the largest, which I instinctively knew to be 60%; the middle portion was orangish-red, about 30% and the bottom-most was black and 10%. Slowly, the black part started moving upwards, pushing out the white part, until the whole circle was black, and then it imploded into itself. Later, I somehow understood that the white stood for सत्व-गुण, the red for रजो-गुण and the black for तमो-गुण. Initially, it was the dawn of the सतयुग where Satvic tendencies were at their peak and slowly as Tamo-Guna increased, the Yugas started deteriorating, culminating with the end of the कलियुग. I do not know why this was shown to me, but I understood the representation immediately.
During another of these states, I saw a golden yellow Vaishnava-tilak with a red vertical tilak in the centre. It was as if the red tilak was beckoning me to enter it, which I did, without hesitation. There again, I experienced beautiful heavenly colours with peacock feathers and Vaishnava-tilaks in between. I liked to believe that my Ishta-devata – Bhagawan श्रीकृष्ण gave me partial darshan, answering my ardent pleas. After this again the void… nothingness… As I came out of this state, it was intermittently a very light floating awareness followed by a void, akin to waking up after being under the effect of anaesthesia. Again, the same peace and calm followed, and I was in a sort of light trans for a long time afterwards.
On another occasion, I again entered the Samadhi state, but this time it was rather direct without being shown any lovely colours. Suddenly, by the same void and nothingness… After a while (I have no idea for how long), I floated back to a light awareness and saw a vision of a pure pristine white place which had 4-5 white coloured single storeyed buildings with flat roofs; and to one side, in a big white open circular structure with low walls, were two big white sandals (Padukas) which looked more like feet. I instinctively knew that they were my Sadhguru’s feet, but the rest of the vision I have still been unable to decipher.
Shavasana session afterwards was totally without any awareness and very cool in spite of being directly under the noon sun.
The last day of the course gave me the most profound experience and knowledge. Again, the Samadhi state, the void and nothingness, was rather immediate and lasted for a considerable amount of time. After floating back to awareness, I saw an outline of myself which suddenly transformed into a thin silver thread. The thread was very thin. A 100th or 1000th part of a single hair. Slowly, I saw that there were very many threads just like me all around, tightly and very systematically woven into one another like a very fine net/the warp and weft (Tana-Bana) of a fine silk cloth. But the threads were in constant motion, and in some places a part of the net/cloth glowed white, some places reddish, and in some places black. It was as if those colored lights from below illuminated them. The threads in the net had the colours in them changing constantly too. This fine net was vast… never-ending. All along, there was an invisible power/force that enveloped it from below and above, constantly moving it up and down rhythmically. It was magical and nothing like I had read, heard or seen ever before!.
Since I am a mother, I felt like the movements were similar to the movements of a near full-term baby in the womb, where the mother’s belly can be seen moving according to the baby’s movements.
And then a question popped into my mind – ‘Who am I?’ ( में कौन हूँ?). I have been contemplating this vision ever since, and think that I partially understand that – I am a unique thread in this vast universal net, which is made up of all the beings, flora, fauna, पंचतत्व, stars, planets and every conceivable object of matter.
Each thread starts as being pure and silver in colour, but eventually becomes multi-colour, representing that each soul is pure but gets painted by the colours of the gunas ( सतव, राजस and तमस) and is hidden under their influence.
The changing colours in the individual threads indicate that everyone and everything have the three gunas in the mind, and no one is 100% Satvic, Rajasic or Tamasic.
The universe is never still and is continually in motion, and the invisible energy which shapes it and moves it is the power of the Almighty परमात्मा/ Cosmic Consciousness.
The individual thread represents individual Consciousness, the movement could be the Universal Consciousness, and the force/power enveloping all this is the Cosmic Consciousness.
The glows in different parts of the net may indicate clusters of Satva, Raja, and Tamo, as to where that part of the Universe is being created, preserved or is being destroyed depending on the passage’s time.
The Cosmic Consciousness driving all of the net (Universe) is the sole power responsible for its creation, preservation and destruction. This is true right from the tiniest cell in every being to the largest galaxies, black holes and Quasars.
Since everything and everybody, including me, keeps changing constantly, I should not judge or condemn anyone or anything (including myself) and instead understand and accept them.
This is how I can slowly expand and evolve from the अनाहत चक्र to eventually the सुदर्शन चक्र (Micro-Cosmos to Macro-Cosmos), which I believe this vision represents.
There could be many more hidden meanings and dimensions to this vision, which may be revealed to me in the future, depending on my understanding and capacity.
These profound truths which I had read about but had never experienced before have been revealed as just a tiny glimpse with a lot more to come (I hope!) … But… only if I am determined and steadfast in practicing the Sadhana prescribed by Swamiji with a total sense of surrender to the Sun God, my SadhGuru, my Ishta-Devata, Babaji and Swamiji.
