Foreword
Dear Divine Brothers and Sisters of the Universe,
We are delighted to welcome you to the August edition of our newsletter. This month marks a significant milestone in our collective journey. We have begun construction on a new dispensary at the UPC Ashram in Lachipur, each brick symbolising the enduring spirit of Sunyoga and the strength of our community.

We are also delighted to share that our cherished cows now roam freely, grazing and living in harmony with nature. After years of anticipation, their newfound freedom fills our hearts with happiness.
Looking ahead, our schedule brims with inspiring events. Swamiji will embark on a European tour, stopping in Mongolia for a workshop—a place he fondly visited years ago. Following this, the Universal Peace Conference in Malaysia will unite us in shared purpose. In October and November, we’ll resume workshops in India. At the end of November, the Ashram will host a joyous occasion as Tiyasa and I celebrate our wedding. Afterwards, Swamiji will take a well-deserved one-month retreat for reflection and renewal. May this month inspire you, bring progress, and nurture inner peace as we walk the path of universal unity together.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Axel and the Sunyoga Editorial Board
Sunyoga Level 4 Advanced Course at Universal Peace Centre June 29th – July 5th, 2025

The Sunyoga Level 4 Advanced Course, held from June 29th to July 5th, 2025, at the Universal Peace Centre, was a profound 7-day intensive led by Swami Sunyogi Umasankar Ji Maharaj. Twelve truth seekers from across India gathered for this transformative experience, diving deep into the subtler dimensions of existence through Sunyoga practices. Far beyond mere sun-gazing, the course integrated meditation, yoga, breathwork, and heartfelt discussions, creating a sanctuary for self-discovery and meaningful connections. The course began each day with a sacred ritual, including worship of Mahavatar Babaji, Agnihotra (fire worship), and enchanting morning prayers led by Swamiji, such as “Prabhu Mere Jeevan ko Kundan Bana Do.”

The daily schedule was rigorous yet enriching: Sunyoga exercises and chakra meditation started at 8 a.m. under the guidance of teacher Tyasadi, followed by sun meditation from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. under Swamiji’s supervision. Afternoon sessions from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. featured Swamiji addressing participants’ experiences, resolving doubts, and sharing insights on the stages of yogic development. His vibrant teachings elevated participants’ consciousness, fostering profound spiritual growth. Evening feedback sessions from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., guided by Sunyoga teachers Vivekda, Dolonda, and Tyasadi, were followed by a sattvik dinner.

For participant Dipankar Bag, the course was a life-altering journey. Initially, sun meditation was challenging, with physical discomfort during the first two days (1 hour 25 minutes on Day 1, 1 hour 40 minutes on Day 2). By the third day, nearly two hours of meditation dissolved negative emotions, boosting strength and stamina. On the fourth day, Swamiji initiated participants into Samadhi, a state of divine bliss and pure connection, which Dipankar described as a glimpse into a world of spiritual Ananda. From the fifth to seventh days, he experienced a new inner cosmos and self-realisation, culminating in a newfound clarity and purpose. The course concluded with written and practical exams, a lunch prepared by Swamiji, and the distribution of certificates, leaving participants profoundly transformed. Swamiji’s teachings, rooted in ancient yogic wisdom yet tailored for modern seekers, transcended backgrounds, fostering a global family bonded by love and respect. The centre became a haven for awakening, with participants sharing stories of clarity, renewed purpose, and lasting peace. Gratitude abounds for Swamiji’s guidance and the participants’ openness, with the hope that his teachings will continue to illuminate paths toward inner peace and love.

🌟 Prestige vs. Personality 🌟
In our spiritual journey, it’s vital to understand the difference between prestige and personality.
🛑 Prestige works on the surface—based on temporary intellectual and emotional levels. It often hinders our spiritual progress by creating misunderstandings, fostering ego, and separating us from others. Prestige clings to identity: “Only my knowledge is the truth”,—and that blocks growth.
✅ Personality, on the other hand, arises from connection with our inner consciousness, which is in harmony with every living being and the entire universe. This connection opens the doors to peace, prosperity, wisdom, health, unconditional love, and enlightenment.

🌐 At Universal Peace Centre, our mission is Universal Peace, Unity, and Oneness.
We must not strive to become a unit, disconnected and divided—
Instead, we must awaken the Unique divine quality within, and recognise that this uniqueness is present in everyone.
💫 Without the connection to cosmic consciousness, our separate “unit” identity is lifeless. But when we embrace our unique divine nature, we become alive, whole, and truly on the path of inner and universal peace.
🙏 Let us accept each person as they are, respect each unique personality, and work together—not in comparison, but in collaboration for humanity.
🌈 Let’s unite every unit in the uniquality of the cosmic consciousness and co-create a peaceful, blissful, and enlightened world.
✨ Wish you all higher success, deep spiritual experience, and a healthy, enlightened life.

🌳 Wisdom from Tenali Rama 🌳
If you desire fruits, don’t focus on the fruits.
Water the roots.
Nourish the foundation.
When the roots are cared for, the fruits will come naturally — abundantly — without effort.
But if you only chase the fruit,
you may lose both the fruit and the shade of the tree.
This truth has revealed itself in every step of my life.
