Foreword
Dear Divine Brothers and Sisters of the Universe,
Welcome to our July 2025 newsletter! As summer unfolds, we feel a renewed sense of energy and excitement, and we’re eager to share the latest happenings in our journey toward peace, health, and unity.

We are delighted to announce the upcoming Universal Peace Conference, scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from September 19 to 21, 2025. This promises to be a transformative gathering for individuals dedicated to creating a more harmonious world through Sunyoga. Stay tuned for more details on registration—this is an event you won’t want to miss!

We also celebrated World Yoga Day and Sunyogi Umasankar’s birthday on June 21–22, 2025. It was a beautiful occasion, as our global community came together for sun meditations, workshops, and meaningful gatherings. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude for Sunyogi’s wisdom and a recommitment to his vision of universal friendship with the sun.
In this newsletter, you’ll find reflections on a recent Sunyoga course in the Netherlands, highlights from an acupressure workshop in Germany, and insights on living with compassion and wisdom. We also share updates on upcoming events, including courses in India, France, and Mongolia, as well as ways to stay connected through our social media channels and information on donation opportunities.

Let’s carry forward the lessons of compassion, mindfulness, and connection that these celebrations embodied. Together, we are building something truly remarkable that inspires and uplifts us all.
Thank you for being an integral part of this journey.
With warmth and appreciation,
Axel and the Sunyoga Editorial Board

A New Beginning: Bringing Sunyoga into Our Lives
By Janina and Sebastian
From June 5th to 8th, we attended the Sunyoga basic course in Meddo-Winterswijk, the Netherlands. Little did we know that this weekend would exceed our wildest expectations and leave us blown away. Once we arrived at the location, we were warmly welcomed by the organisers, Froukje, Jeroen, and the other participants. We were genuinely amazed by the friendliness and kindness of our group.

Following the arrival, our group was taught, over four days, about the essentials of Sunyoga, the universe, and Mother Earth, as well as the roles we can and should play in and on the latter two. With incredible passion, Sunyogi Umasankar ensured that we understood the message of creating a better world. This passion also came to the fore during our sun meditations. With a determined and kind approach, Sunyogi taught us how to become friends with the sun and how to look at it. However, sadly, and despite our great willingness to create friendship with the sun, our four days in Winterswijk were characterised by a (typical Dutch) cloudy and rainy sky. Which, on the other hand, made our group highly determined to make the most out of the periods that the sun was shining. We are genuinely looking forward to integrating the Sunyoga practice in our daily lives.

Three Days of Acupressure and Sunyoga at Eco Community, Kleve, Germany
by Mohsen
We recently had the joy of attending a three-day acupressure course at the serene Eco Community in Kleve, Germany. Each day began with a refreshing session of Sunyoga, followed by a wholesome breakfast. Our instructor, affectionately known as Sunyogi, would playfully ask, “How was your pre-breakfast?” The yoga sessions, held under the open sky, were energising and enjoyable for everyone.

The acupressure course started with a gentle introduction to the theories and fundamentals of body energy and pressure points, thoughtfully linked to relatable examples from daily life. This made it easier to grasp the core concepts and connect with them on a personal level.
We then moved on to hands-on learning, beginning with pressure points in the hands. The approach was practical, perfect for both beginners and experienced learners. Day two went deeper into the concept of meridians and energy pathways throughout the body, helping us understand the flow of vital energy. On the final day, we explored the correspondences between different body areas, diving into more advanced aspects of acupressure.

Each day, a few participants were treated directly by Sunyogi. Remarkably, several experienced noticeable improvements within minutes, highlighting the power and immediacy of the techniques being taught.
This experience was not only educational but also deeply healing and pleasing. The combination of mindful physical practice and energy work in such a tranquil setting left us feeling connected, refreshed, and inspired.

Embracing Compassion and Wisdom for a Thriving Future
In today’s world, where material wealth often takes centre stage, it’s important to pause and consider the true essence of prosperity. Caring for one another and nurturing our planet transcends mere acts of kindness; these are the cornerstones of a sustainable future and the true heartbeat of life’s wealth. Let us cherish these sacred values, intertwining them into the fabric of our collective journey to ensure they remain at the forefront of our lives. 💚
Living in isolation, disconnected from others and the environment, leads to silent suffering—a karmic echo from choices made without awareness. To break this cycle, we must move forward with intention, compassion, and a sense of responsibility. Every small action we take sends ripples throughout the world, shaping both our individual lives and the shared existence we cultivate. ✨
May your journey be filled with success, peace, joy, health, and enlightenment. 🙏

Acceptance vs. Expectation: The Path to Inner Wealth 🌼
Acceptance is the key to growth. By embracing life with self-confidence and dedicating ourselves to being our best selves in every moment, we cultivate an economy of wisdom and inner richness. This sets the foundation for a life well-lived, one that is aligned with purpose and meaning.

However, we must be cautious. Blind acceptance without discernment can lead to loss, while expectations rooted in ego or selfish desires can give rise to pain, suffering, and loneliness. Even when we strive to do our best, clinging to rigid expectations can isolate us, eroding trust, joy, and connection—elements that infuse our lives with vibrancy.
Remember: Money is not our true wealth; wisdom is.
Our choices create a sustainable economy, not one built on fleeting riches but on the lasting value of conscious living. Each decision presents an opportunity to act wisely, to show compassion, and to nurture the interconnected web of life.
As we journey down this path together, let’s hold fast to the values of care, awareness, and responsibility. Together, we can forge a future where wisdom reigns supreme as our greatest treasure.
Choose consciously. Choose wisely. The power is in your hands.
Om Anand Om 🌿

This message is shared with gratitude for the Sunyoga community. May it inspire you to live with intention and embrace the true wealth of wisdom in all that you do.
