The Ever-New Dawn of Sanatan Consciousness

New Year Message for 2026

by Shree Shree Swamiji Sunyogi Umasankar JI Maharaj JI

Om Ananda Om 🙏

Beloved brothers and sisters of the Universe,

With most profound reverence and countless salutations at the holy lotus feet of Shree Shree Mahavatar Babaji Maharaj JI, I offer this message as the final moments of 2025 dissolve into the auspicious dawn of 2026, a sacred threshold inviting renewal, clarity, and spiritual direction.

At this divine juncture, my prayer for all humanity is simple yet profound:
Encourage each soul to awaken in Sanatan Consciousness and actively pursue Absolute Truth, Peace, and life’s fulfilment this year.

Sanatan — The Eternal and Ever-New

The word Sanatan means eternal.
That which was new at the very beginning remains equally new in the present and will stay new forever, unchanged in essence, yet ever-fresh in realisation. It calls of the Ever-New within the unchanging Truth, inviting all to feel connected to this eternal source.

Sanatan is the indestructible Conscious Self (Chaitanya Satta).

True awakening is a journey of consciousness,

from the unconscious,

to the semi-conscious,
to the conscious,

to the subconscious,
to the super-conscious,
And finally to the supreme conscious state,

encouraging the audience to feel capable of inner transformation.

Entering this Sanatani Consciousness, one attains inner completeness. This sovereign and universal consciousness itself is the Kingdom of Heaven—not a distant realm, but a living reality eternally present within the spiritual essence and natural vibration of Bharatvarsha (India).

Indra, the Senses, and the Law of Inner Balance

The Vedas are the carriers of this Sanatan Consciousness. In their symbolism, Indra represents mastery—the state of consciousness that governs the indriyas (senses) with awareness and discipline.

Whenever this mastery weakens, forces of ignorance, ego, and imbalance naturally arise. Harmony collapses, and Adharma—the absence of proper order—temporarily prevails. This truth is reflected repeatedly across ages, cultures, and even within individual human lives.

Yet whenever awareness returns—when surrender is made to the Sanatani Sovereign Consciousness—balance is restored. The higher forces of wisdom re-establish Dharma, and harmony resumes its rightful place.

Sanatan, therefore, is not merely philosophy.
It is the Life Force (Jivani Shakti) that sustains both the cosmos and the human being.

Hindutva and the Universal Essence of Life

In its truest sense, Hindutva is not a narrow religious identity.
It is the Universal Vital Self (Pran Satta)—the living essence that flows through all existence.

The Life Force and the Vital Self share the same source, yet express themselves differently—just as the vast ocean and a single drop of water are one in essence, though the drop’s existence depends upon the vessel that holds it.

Similarly, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Parsi, and countless other traditions are vessels. Within each flows the same Sanatani Essence.

The challenge of our age is this:
Recognise that outer spiritual practices are not enough; inner realisation of the Truth is essential to true spiritual growth and unity.

When identity replaces realisation, labels gather like dust. Over time, these dust particles form vast deserts—dry landscapes of division and misunderstanding. Even though the desert holds immense potential for fertility, without the water of self-realisation and self-perception, it cannot blossom into an oasis.

The Path of Living Sanatan

Since 1997, the Universal Peace Centre (UPC) has been walking this Sanatani path—quietly, steadily, and sincerely—working to awaken this consciousness in individuals across the world.

UPC does not promote imitation, blind belief, or sectarian boundaries. It does not teach the memorisation of mantras alone. Instead, it teaches how to live the wisdom of the scriptures—the Vedas, Upanishads, Gita, Puranas, and philosophies—through direct inner experience.

When mantras are reflected in daily life, they become living realities. Through this lived connection with the Sanatani Conscious Self, the natural path toward peace, unity, and universal brotherhood is revealed.

A Call for the New Year

At the dawn of this New Year, the Universal Peace Centre extends a heartfelt call to every brother and sister of the world:

Let us move beyond the errors of the past—
beyond narrowness, selfishness, blind imitation, and division.

Let us consciously follow the eternal, peaceful, and all-embracing Sanatan Consciousness, united in our shared journey toward spiritual awakening and harmony in 2026.

May 2026 awaken in us renewed clarity, inner strength, and living wisdom as we walk the path toward
Absolute Truth,
Absolute Peace,
and the fulfilment of life’s divine purpose.

May all be victorious.
May peace prevail for all.

With loving blessings for a luminous New Year 🌸
