D. R. Kaarthikeyan, hails from a small agricultural village called Devarayapuram in Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu, India. He was born in 1939 and pursued a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Agriculture from Annamalai University and a Bachelor of Law degree from Madras Law College. He subsequently enrolled as an Advocate in the Bar Council of Madras. His distinguished career in the Indian Police Service includes serving as the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Director General of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
Kaarthikeyan is best known for leading the Special Investigation Team that investigated the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. His extensive career also saw him holding roles such as the Chief of Intelligence and Security in Karnataka, Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force, and a diplomat in the Indian Embassy in Moscow. He authored the bestseller “Triumph of Truth – Rajiv Gandhi Assassination” and has been honoured with the Padma Shri, Police Medal, and President’s Medal for Distinguished Services for his exemplary service to the nation.
He serves as the President of the Foundation for Peace, Harmony, and Good Governance and remains active in various educational and interfaith initiatives. He has also been a visiting professor at several prestigious institutions, continuing to influence and inspire through his vast experience and commitment to public service.
Smita Chatterjee, 49 years old, hails from Bardhaman, West Bengal, and recently served as the Universal Peace Centre president for three years. She is an entrepreneur in the education sector, working as an administrator and actively involved with nine different Institutions. Smita attended the National University, where she obtained a Master’s degree in history and education, and she is now studying to complete her Doctorate.
Smita’s professional journey is complemented by her deep love for books, particularly novels and spiritual texts. Her collection even includes letters from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Her spiritual journey began in childhood, influenced by her grandmother’s spirituality and her family’s devotion to Durga Ma. Over the years, she has been guided by several significant spiritual mentors. Her first major guide was Vibhabananda Maharaj in 2005. She later received Diksha from Shri 1008 Soham Babaji and learned Kriya Yoga from Subhas Chakraborty.
The most profound influence on her spiritual path has been Sunyogi Umashankar Ji, who entrusted her with the presidency of the Universal Peace Centre (2021-2024). His teachings have helped her discover her inner light and capabilities, which she now dedicates to serving the ashram and her community. Smita’s life combines professional dedication, spiritual depth, and community service.

Dr. Vikas Saxena is a Distinguished Scientist and Former Director of Defense Research & Development Organizations (DRDO), Ministry of Defense, Government of India, at Hyderabad, India. He has specialised in aerospace materials, aircraft design, accident analysis and prevention, and structure integrity technologies for defence platforms for four decades. He had a very intense interest in spiritualism during childhood and tried to understand its various philosophies through theoretical and practical aspects. Despite his intense involvement in scientific research and directing various defence and military-related projects, he had parallelly continued his original passion for spiritualism at his own pace. During this spiritual journey, always being only a novice open-minded disciple, he has been very fortunate to interact with several Gurus from Buddhism, Vedantic, and Yogic philosophies of varied lineages. More recently, he has developed a deep interest in exploring ancient science and technology hidden in ancient Indian scriptures in the Sanskrit. He has also attempted to understand subjective spiritual experiences and their unification through modern physics, cosmology, quantum mechanics and their physio-psychological effects through cell biology, energy channels and neuroscience. As a defence scientist, he always felt an extreme need for ethics in defence in modern warfare. He hoped for the possibility of the emergence of universal peace in the World through spiritualism, which is very much ingrained in our Indian philosophy.

Vaishnavi and Shambhavi are twin girls, born in April 2014. They are studying in Shri Ram Millennium School Noida. At a very early age of 3, they started learning Indian classical singing and classical Kathak dance from Jaipur Gharana, one of the most famous dance and music apprenticeship fraternity of North India. They have performed at various stage in India, and won various prizes.
Jonathan Charpentier (JC) is a 39-year-old French-American artist, educator, and professional photographer whose work and life are deeply connected to the pursuit of universal peace and self-realization. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jonathan’s artistic journey began at EFET Photography School in Paris, where he honed his craft before launching a successful photography business in 2002. His work has gained international recognition, being featured in exhibitions across France, the Netherlands, and the USA and contributing to 11 films.
In 2012, Jonathan’s life took a transformative turn when he embarked on a spiritual journey inspired by Sunyogi Umasankar. This led him to the Universal Peace Centre Trust (UPCT) in India, where he immersed himself in a 30-day acupressure workshop. Fueled by this experience, he founded the French branch of UPCT in 2015 and its American counterpart in 2019.
Jonathan now blends his artistic talents with a deep commitment to global harmony, aiming to build a sustainable, self-sufficient community based on the ancient philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. His long-term vision includes returning to France and India to further this mission and contribute to the growth of the Universal Peace Centre.
Martin Pavlina is a Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong practitioner from Croatia. He is 28 years old and has been practicing martial arts since he was 16, learning from Rada Pašić.
In 2017, he became the Croatian state champion in the senior category in barehanded forms. In January 2018, he was named to the Top Sportsmen of Croatia registry. In 2019, he graduated from the Teacher College at the University of Rijeka with a thesis on the influence of Tai Chi on cognition in elementary school physical education, where he researched the influence of Tai Chi Chuan on the mental state of children. After two months of training with elementary school students, their positive emotions increased significantly, and their negative emotions decreased. This means their perception of life regarding their emotional response changed.
Today, where there are many problems like depression, aggression, and violence, these discoveries are indications for further research. It can be significant for building a more peaceful society because education is one of the main roots of change in society.
In 2020 Martin competed in the European Wushu Cup and won a bronze medal. He is having Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong classes in Rijeka, Croatia, in the “Sport and Recreation Pantera.” Martin also has an association, the Sport and Recreation Pantera organizes and participates in various actions. They provide programs for children, students, and the elderly the contribution to a more healthy and peaceful society.

He was born in Pune, started learning Yoga Asanas at 13, and has since continued with it on and off. He started learning Iyengar yoga in 1996 and began teaching it in 2000. Jaykumar teaches and does medical classes in Mumbai as a profession and owns an institute in Pune. He gives therapy through Iyengar yoga, acupressure, and neurotherapy.
Jaykumar started learning Sunyoga from Swmaiji Umashankarji in 2013 and has practiced it since. He got to travel to Badrinath for his second meeting with Swamiji Umashankarji.

Each painting is an exploration and a journey, starting from an inspiration that may come from an inner vision, from nature, from a scratched wall in the city, and the colors from the sun coming behind the mist. The journey may end somewhere different, giving the most surprising result. Sweden’s winter landscape and colors, with the cold tones and barren nature, are fascinating and so beautiful. During this winter, the ice has inspired my work. Lately, I have worked primarily with large paintings; the material is acrylics on canvas. The composition of the colors has always interested me the most, exploring how the brush meets the canvas, the speed of the brush strokes, how the hand holds the brush, and how the colors mix on the palette or in the picture.
I also explore the co-creation of sound and music and the inspiration process to find a deeper connection with the source, to the heart of the creative process.

Ewa Olsson has been working with art for over fifty years, her life passion. For many years she worked in her local studio, where she sold her own created sculptures and conducted courses in art. Today she is keenly interested in tactile textile art using natural materials like wool and silk. In the garden, which is another passion of hers, you find it full of sculpture installations as you stroll around. Many paintings have her garden as a motif.
One of the keywords for her is harmony, both when it comes to color and shape. She claims working with colors is essential and prefers to only work with 2-3 colors at a time. “Colors can give strong impressions and handled with care will give a sense of peace and fulfillment.” Common motifs in her work are green nature and colorful flowers. She has had a particular interest and been spellbound by birds, magpies in particular, dressed in tail coats with gracious movements. The moments when the birds are taking off and flying fascinate her.

Inaya has dedicated herself to the artistic path since the age of 5. Her art was her tool in her lifelong investigation into an authentic life beyond the veil taught by society. Her method is to share how we can cooperate with our Higher Selves, finding Divine Duality and healing. The last eight years have been dedicated to the healing arts as a sound and energy healer, specializing in the akashic records, plus shamanic studies and practices through Energy Medicine Institute in Australia (EMI).
She started her career as a tennis coach at 14 and has over her 30-year of a career as a tennis coach. By age 40, she started her next chapter as a consultant, board member, and creator of educational programs for the corporate and public sectors. Her specialty was implementing creativity and entrepreneurship to eliminate the separation between the different fields of excellence. She was also the owner and operator of a refugee camp for four years, bringing her face-to-face with trauma, war, separation, death, and loss.
Her work led her to write various books about the coming of a new reality and the shift of consciousness, helping people navigate the new paradigm. Nitin was born in 1981 in Haryana, India. He received his B.E. in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from MDU Rohtak, Haryana, in 2002 and then completed his Master’s in Technology in Instrumentation Engineering from NIT, Kurukshetra, in 2004. After that, he joined a college as a lecturer. Next, he worked for different companies as an Automation Engineer. His work profile was Software Developer for Testing Machines. He was more diverted toward Spiritual Life during his last 7-8 years. He aims to know the Science of Spirituality – the Mother of All Sciences in this Universe. As a scientist, he wishes to serve the whole world. He has been associated with one spiritual group called “PanchKosh Yogic Science” since 2016 and is trying to learn the science of the 5 Bodies related to ourselves. As Nitin says, that course refined his angle of vision a lot. In 2017, he did a Master’s Diploma in “Panchgavya Therapy.” In that course, he has learned the importance of the Indian Breed Desi Cow (with A2 Milk) and its five products (cow’s dung, urine, milk, curd, and ghee), applicable in our daily Life, and their usefulness in purifying our inner self. He met Swamiji Sunyogi Umasankar during that course and started practising “Sunyoga” in 2017. Like a coin, science also has two faces – theory and practice. eava [aka Lisa J. Wolf] was born April 10, 1957, in New Rochelle, New York, in 5 Nations’ Territory. At 14, upon reading the Autobiography of a Yogi, Seava’s life goal was to be like Babaji, and from this early age, she came under Babaji’s protection and guidance. Seava attended Harvard-Radcliffe College in 1975 and graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Creative Writing. She worked in publishing in New York; and for the Legal Aid Society’s Homeless Family Rights Project. For 11 years, as Seava experienced her spiritual awakening, she was persecuted by the Mafia System; and she escaped from New York, Halloween of 1986, to live at the Self Realization Fellowship community in Virginia before moving to Eugene, Oregon. Intending to attend law school, Seava found freedom and healing in Eugene; her eldest daughter was born August 18, 1988, on the same day as law school registration day; and changing course, Seava pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing at the University of Oregon. Azul strongly believes that regenerative living is a solution that can lead the way for future generations to repair the damage done by the violence of colonialism and its deeply destructive residual impacts on the Earth, such as the petroleum industry, chemical farming, and the countless extractive industries that have been disrupting the delicate balance of all life on our planet. Hereditary Chief Phil Lane Jr. is an enrolled member of the Ihanktonwan Dakota and Chickasaw Nations and is an internationally recognized leader in human, community, and economic development.
During the past 54 years, Chief Lane has worked with Indigenous Peoples from the Americas, Micronesia, South East Asia, China, India, Hawaii, and Africa. He served 16 years as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education at the University of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada (1980-1996). In 1982, Chief Lane co-founded the Four Worlds International Institute (FWII) with Indigenous Elders and Spiritual Leaders. As well, Phil is Chairman of Four Directions International and Compassion Games International.
Chief Lane has been the recipient of multiple awards and recognition. He was the first indigenous person to win the prestigious Windstar Award, presented annually on behalf of the late John Denver and the Windstar Foundation. In 2000, he received the Year 2000 Award for Freedom and Human Rights awarded by the Swiss Foundation. Other winners of this award include Nobel Prize winner Wangari Maathai, the Dalai Lama, Lord Yehudi Menuhin, Jacques-Yves Cousteau, and Yevgeni Velikhov, Vice President, Soviet Academy of Sciences.
In 2008, Chief Lane received the Ally Award presented by the Center for Healing Racism. Particular emphasis for this award was for his dedicated work, for more than 19 years, as one of the key Indigenous leaders in the resolution of Canada’s Residential School issue, which involved the sexual, physical, cultural, psychological, and emotional abuse of thousands of Aboriginal children in Canada. The process resulted in a more than $4 billion settlement for Residential School survivors.
On August 15, 1992, in recognition of his hereditary lineage of leadership and longtime service to Indigenous Peoples and the Human Family, Indigenous Elders from across North America recognized Phil as a Hereditary Chief of the Hinhan Wicasa and Deloria Tiospayes of the Ihanktonwan Nation, through a Traditional Headdress Ceremony.
Chief Lane currently serves as a member of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, (AISES), Council of Elders. He is the host of the Shift Network’s Global Indigenous Wisdom Summits. As well, Chief Lane is an Honorary International Advisor to the Help Foundation of the Beijing Women’s and Children’s Development Foundation and is a co-founder and Global Trustee of the United Religions Initiative.
In 1982, with Indigenous elders and spiritual leaders from across North America, Chief Lane founded the Four Worlds International Institute (FWII). FWII became an independent Institute in 1995. With Chief Lane’s guidance and applied experience, FWII has become an internationally recognized leader in human, community, and economic development because of the Institute’s unique focus on the importance of culture and spirituality in all elements of development.

Chyyla’s early career started as a teacher of Reading Dynamics for children and adults — advanced techniques for more reading enjoyment, maintenance of good vision, improved comprehension, and reading speed. Beginning throughout the US, then in Europe, followed by offering these remarkable reading skills at the Sri Aurobindo & The Mother’s Ashram in Pondicherry, India. Cok Istri Putri Rukmini and her student Monali Varaiya are tuning in from Berkeley, California at Gamelan Sekar Jaya. They will be offering a Balinese welcome dance called Gabor. Dance, gamelan music, and theater in Bali are rich art forms with a deep spiritual connection, and also accompaniments for the colorful ceremonial life of Balinese Hindu culture. Tari Gabor is a graceful welcome dance, and the seated portion evokes praying at a shrine, wafting incense towards the deities.
Dance is a wonderful practice, a deep form of yoga. We can learn how to embody noble qualities through studying different characters, practice integrating our body and mind, and discover how to enliven the whole body with energy and awareness, from the toes to the top of the head.
Monali has discovered her guru in Cok Pring and loves to study with her. Cok Pring’s guiding principles are infusing life with gratitude and enjoyment, and enveloping everything in love. Cok Pring is passionate about continuously learning being in contribution. She has dance and vocal students from all over the world, and positively impacts many Balinese youth with her dynamic teaching style and creativity. Her renown has resulted in a 10 month teaching residency in California at the Balinese arts organization Gamelan Sekar Jaya.
For Monali, Balinese dance and music are inseparable from her revered teachers, and have become her beloved sadhanas alongside study of Vedanta. Her day job is in biotech, and she’s passionate about the benefits of spiritual and artistic growth for living an inspired and full life.

CharMar was brought up in the Scandinavian and West African cultures. She is a nutritional therapist and designer with a focus on permaculture. The dance is, for her, a thanksgiving, a conversation between the inner being and the creation and the not yet created where the rhythm of the drums are messages that go out into the body and that sync with the rhythms of the universe. Right now, she is traveling around West Africa to learn and share experiences in recycling, growing native crops and medicinal plants, and studying traditional processes in building construction. Sometimes I stop to dance and replenish the inner sun. She is looking forward to sharing this moment with you.
